The REAL Reason to go to Salt Lake.....

The reason for going to Salt Lake was Christmas time @ Temple Square. The lights
were so beautiful. We toured the Conference Center, Temple Square, Joseph Smith Building and we were just a few hundred feet below where our beloved prophet was. I walked up to the guard and asked to see President Hinkley. When he asked if I had an appointment, I knew he thought I was crazy. Maybe I will get to meet him some day. We loved the feeling and Spirit that was there on that sacred ground. I am so thankful for all the Saints and others who have sacrificed and continue to do so for our behalf. I feel so blessed to live at this time and look forward to the great things to come as we prepare for the Saviors return.

1st ROW BABY!!!!!

While we were there in Salt Lake City, I decided I was going to take Tony to a Jazz game. I think he was impressed with the seats. 1st row VIP baby!!! You could litterally touch the players. The seats went like this.....players on court in front row, row behind them is coaches, body guards, injured players etc....THEN US!!!! YES....I could SMELL the sweat! We got there an hour and a half early and watched them mess around. Then we went to a nice room next to where the locker room was and had dinner (it better have been included for the price..HAHA!) I'm such a dork! I think I was the only one in there that took a picture of my food. It was soooo good! Then we watched the game. It was so cool to be able to HEAR everything and see all the stuff that goes on during time outs and all the things you can't hear or see from anywhere else. I am not sure how much the Sonic's coach liked when my flash would go off in his face??? I did get permission to take pics though. The Jazz won and the energy in that arena was AWESOME! It was an experience I know Tony and I will never forget.

OUR AMAZING TRIP!!!

For Tony's Birthday I decided to take us on a vacation that was original and unforgetable! I saw this hotel on the Travel Channel and was so excited to go! Each room has a different theme and you can move every night! The first night was the Jungle Safari room. I wish I could put ALL the pictures on here so you can see all the cool stuff. This room had a falling rock waterfall and the most comfortable bed!!

The second night we stayed in Tombs of Egypt. That was a fun room with a lot of statues and brilliant colors. The whole room felt underground in a pyramid somewhere....it was so cool!

The third night was the Romeo and Juliet suite. Romeo and Juliet is one of my favorite love stories. Love is the most valuable possession we have and does anyone know of a better purpose to die for??? When we go back, we will probably stay in this room the whole time. It was elegant and romantic and had a HUGE TV with surround sound upstairs while you lay in a HUGE kingsize bed and so much more!! Every room had a tv, dvd player (unlimited free rentals), a nice jacuzzi tub for 2, sparkling cider on ice, 2 gourmet slices of cheezecake, and a FABULOUS breakfast delivered to your room along with hot cocoa and juice every morning at whatever time you specify. It was amazing!!!

IS WHITE EVEN A COLOR?

White is one of my favorite colors and there is no greater feeling then being completely dressed in white certain times in your life. I think our spirits have a remembrance of being "clothed in white" and how humble that we feel. Last Saturday was a joyous day for Tony and I. Justin was baptized and our sweet Aspen was blessed all in one day! It was such a great experience and truly a sacred moment. I wish everyone could have been there. Almost all of Tony's family was there which made it even more a blessing. Entering the waters of baptism is such a responsibility and priviledge at the same time. I am now gaining a greater understanding of what taking upon myself the name of Christ means to me in my life and the peaceful feelings that come when I allow Him to carry my burdens and to turn to Him for forgiveness of my shortcomings. I hope I can teach my children how to build a personal relationship with the Savior as mine continues to grow. I would be lost and very sad without that in this Life. Thank you, Grandpa for your love and support that precious day. We love you!

MMMMMM....COOKIES!!

We thought it would be so cute yet so insane to have the girls invite 1 friend over and make sugar cookies from SCRATCH! That's right...I actually WANTED to try and bake! Then, after they cookie cuttered the dough, cooked it, let it cool down, we colored the frosting and let them decorate however they wanted. I swear they did a better job then I did.....don't they look so professional? The best part is the gleam in their eyes! They are so proud. There was only 17 fights over cookie cutters, frosting, m&m's, and who gets to take the first bite. Again, another successful child encounter. HA!!!

AND......We're back!! HA!!!

Ok...so, sheese! I have not been this busy in forever! Anyway, let's update some events here. The girlies had their birthday party last month and it was a BLAST!! There was like 20 kids there!!

I LOVE KIDS!!! They are so innocent and fun. Can't we all just stay that way forever??

THE TIME HAS COME!

Every step that babies go through seems like such a huge one! Once they learn something new, they don't usually forget it. She has started smiling which gives even more personality to her already sweet spirit. Aspen is such a joy to our family.

My Sweet Jenna.....

This morning I decided to forget the dishes and laundry etc. and focus all my attention on my almost 3 year old Angel. We had so much fun! We took a bath together, did our hair together, put makeup on together and danced and sang all morning. Can you see the twinkle in her eye? She felt so special. I love these moments as they grow up. I hope we are always very close.

OTHER KRAZY KRIESE'S!!

Yesterday there was a knock on my front door and to my suprize, my cousin's from Texas were at the door. I was so excited to see them. They stayed for a while and made cards and played. They are growing up so fast! Aren't they just Angels! (Ethan wasn't the least interested in crafts. He was in Justin's room doing "man" things.)

Of course the girls have to have a princess party this year!! I have a lot of fun stuff planned and I wish EVERYONE could come. Here is their invitations I did today! I litterally took these pictures today so that's why they are faces only.....i actually wet wipped their faces so at least they wouldn't be dirty. (oh, and made them brush their teeth.)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

YEA!! Halloween has come and gone! It is so fun to dress up every year! I might like it more than the kidos....ha! Lastnight started out great with a Yummy dinner at Andrea's house. We all then proceeded to a friends Ward's Trunk r' Treat. I just love seeing all the different costumes and ideas. Who knew you could decorate the trunk of your car, park them all next to each other and trick or treat?? Who thought of that? They're a genious! It sure saves some walking, AND cuts your time in half! We ended up back at Torrey and Drea's neighborhood going door to door anyway. (darn kids! Like the 20 lb bag of candy they were dragging around wasn't enough.) We all said goodnight and parted ways. When we got home, dad took his own bag and trick r' beated his own kids till they gave up whatever he wanted.....HA HA....I always look forward to that part every year....what priceless memories. :) I'm excited for the rest of the year....It's my favorite! Tis' the season to be JOLLY!! (p.s. - I turned 29!!)

YAHOO!! FHE!!

It's that same Family Home Evening we have every year to try and carve pumpkins into somthing recognizable!! The patterns get harder and harder every year. This was Jenna's first time with her own and I think she was still a little to young to fully enjoy the experience.....she had more fun feeding daddy ice cream while he worked on Justin's. Justin was showing daddy his plate full of seeds and shoved it right in his face! YOU GO J! Ashley was discusted by the slimy texture but was a trooper. We didn't get the pumpkins completely carved since it was a school night and getting late, but will post the prize winning pumpkins another night! I love this time of year!!
